Who is Sara?
I’ve always loved to cook – I grew up in the kitchen, cooking with my whole family and eating dinner together every night. Food inspires me. If I am passionate about an activity, it’s food.
Along the way in life I found myself neglecting my health. I lost my way and picked up really unhealthy eating habits and an unhealthy relationship with food. I became very overweight. I knew I needed to change, but I wasn’t sure how to get started.
Enter Precision Nutrition.
I signed up for a 12 month coaching program where I was able to fix a lot of my food relationship issues. I got in the gym, I ate abundantly and I lost about 70 pounds. Most importantly, I found myself again.
Now I’ve found a way to still be a foodie, while balancing my health and wellness. And I’ve learned some stuff along the way. And I want to share it with you.
What is Sixty Seconds with Sara?
Sixty Seconds With Sara is part food blog, including short videos, recipes, tips on how I have incorporated a cooking ritual on Sunday afternoons to set me up for successful eating all week. It’s also a lifestyle and wellness blog where I can share my own experiences and those I’ve worked with. I coach clients to find the healthy relationship with food that I’ve discovered, how to fit physical activity into their already busy schedule, and how to find joy in their lives.

You can also find me teaching cooking classes on how to stock a healthier kitchen and prepare a week’s worth of healthy, delicious meals (7-8 dishes) in only two and a half hours. Once we decide on a menu specific to your dietary needs and tastes, we purchase all the groceries and arrive at your house with recipes in hand! Great for groups of 4-6 people.
I hold Precision Nutrition’s Level 1 Certification, and am a Certified Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I hold a number of exercise and training certifications too! I love to learn, and I love to share with others. I would be honored to work with you to help achieve your own personal goals.
